In honor and memory of our friend, Matt Tracy.

Matthew “Matt” Claude Tracy II, age 60 of Vandalia, passed away peacefully with Anna at his side, September 20, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital following a brief illness. He was born on December 10, 1960 in San Francisco, California. Matt was an Engineer at the Department of Defense for more than 38 years. He was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Vandalia. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Matt enjoyed volunteering for 4 Paws for Ability and helped raise many puppies and washed even more dog bowls for their cause. He spent his free time woodworking and engaging in other DIY activities. Most importantly, he spent his time making sure Anna and everyone he met, was happy.

Matt is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years: Anna (Boehman) Tracy, children: Gregory, Katherine, Phoenix (known previously as Abigail) Tracy, siblings: Michèle (Dan) DeVoe, Thérèse (Cliff) Riker, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who he leaves to cherish his memory. Matt was preceded in death by his parents: Teresa Frances (Damonte) and John Francis Tracy.

A Private Graveside Service will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to 4 Paws for Ability in his memory.

Donations can be made in any denomination by adding multiple donation amounts to your cart and/or using the $1 amount to adjust the donation total (for example one $5 donation and two $1 donations can be used to make a $7 donation).
